Everyone has a series of “that song” songs. People have that song they listen to when they need to get pumped up, that song they listen to when they’re having a bad day, or that song they listen to when they are just stupid, stupid drunk. Ghostland Observatory’s Robotique Majestique has several tracks on it that fit into a new “that song” genre, “that song that makes you feel like you can do anything.”
The whole album is epic. Aaron Behrens, the group’s singer, just belts out some crazy, but inspired, vocals, and the beats in the background makes the listener feel like they could run through a brick wall if they needed to. Everything is fast-paced and upbeat, and when the album is over, the listener can’t help but think, “That was awesome.”
Ghostland Observatory isn’t much more than two friends making some music for the masses, but just giving Robotique Majestique a spin makes the listener understand that they are experiencing something special.

Sounds like:
Freddie Mercury on speed, fronting a band of cyborgs.
Listen to it when:
Snorting lines of crushed up No-Doz doesn’t get you hyped up enough.
